About Design Communication design

Communication design

Just about everything we design needs to achieve a specific communication goal. That's why the word "communications" is in our name.

So when a client asks for a beautiful website, is that really all they need? Maybe they also need an effective one. One that draws more people in and inspires them to find out more.

Graphic design focuses on the visual qualities of design. It doesn't see these qualities through a strategic lens, so we see graphic design as just one part of our professional toolkit. Without strategic focus, it won't accomplish much.

In our design practice, we use the communication tools of government and stakeholder relations, strategic design, professional writing, language adaptation, photography, illustration, information design, web design, information architecture, and graphic design. Our creative process manages these interconnected disciplines to develop creative, and meaningful design.
